With music selections from Hollywood, Disney, and contemporary hits, they'll never complain about the music being boring! This program is only offered in select schools in Vancouver. Sign them up below for 2019-2020 school year!

PROGRAM DETAILS

New term starts September 2019-June 2020

40 one-hour classes once each week, and 2 concert performances held in December and June.

Classes will cover up to 8 solo songs and 4 ensemble songs (drawn from folk, classical, and popular genres). We will introduce basic playing/singing techniques and basic pitch/rhythm reading skills. Scales, music theory and ear-training are also included in the curriculum. There's no better place for kids to be, than to be learning with other kids. Joining a music ensemble is the most encouraging and effective way for children to stay motivated in their craft. Having fun music to play, well, that's just an added bonus. Our school programs are for kids grade 4-7. Kids with previous experience or beginners are both welcome.

Applicable instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone

For smaller children, we recommend: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass Guitar, Trumpet, Baritone (mini tuba)
