Part Time Conductor / Instructor:

Salary: Starting at $6000-$21,000 per year (46 weeks a year)

Schedule: Monday 7:30-9:30pm (orchestra), Tuesday 7-9pm (orchestra), Thursday 6:45-9:45pm (choir)

Applicants do not need apply for all sessions. Single sessions are acceptable.

Job Description:

  • Conduct / lead / teach groups

  • Conduct / Perform in concerts

  • Inspire, motivate, and educate students towards higher musical excellence

  • Educate members to develop better tone, pitch, rhythm, and musicality

  • Audition for parts/seats, solos, and principals

  • Develop positive rapport and connections with members

  • Nurture a constructive and inspiring environment for members

  • Promote the organization and concerts

  • Set up / strike equipment for each session

  • Manage/Curate/Organize active sheet music

  • Communicate weekly with members and staff team
