Conductor / Instructor:

Salary: Starting at $10,000-$25,000 per year

Schedule for Orchestra: Monday 8-10pm, Tuesday 7:30-9pm, Wednesday 7:30-9pm

Schedule for Choir: Monday 6-8pm, Wednesday 6-7:30pm, Thursday 7-9pm

5-12 hours/week, 42 weeks annually, 10 weeks of vacation

Job Description:

  • Conducting/Teaching of group rehearsals

  • Conducting/Performing in concerts

  • Teaching repertoire and evaluating progress of musicians

  • Educating musicians to develop clear and accurate tone, pitch, rhythm, and musicality

  • Inspire, motivate, and educate students towards higher musical excellence

  • Auditioning for solos, principals, and assigning parts

  • Coaching through 1-1 sessions

  • Developing positive rapport with members

  • Developing a constructive and safe environment for members of all backgrounds

  • Promote the organization, concerts, and recruit/retain new members

Concertmaster / Associate Concertmaster:

Salary: Starting at $3,000 per year

Schedule: Mondays 7-10pm except stat holidays

42 weeks annually, 10 weeks of vacation

Job Description:

  • Deciding bowings for string section, scan, upload and share.

  • Attend each rehearsal, soundcheck, and performance

  • Run sectionals in addition to regular rehearsals

Substitute Performer

Compensation: $300 per show

Schedule: Monday Evenings 7-10pm (dates determined by shows), Sunday Show 11am-5:30pm call time with lunch break.

9 hours of rehearsals, 2 hour sound check, 2 hour performance

Pre-requisites:

  • Bachelor of Music from accredited University

  • 12+ years experience in orchestral or choral ensembles

  • Punctual and organized

  • Possess professional stage and rehearsal etiquette

Outreach/Administrative Coordinator

Salary: Starting at $10,000

Schedule: Flexible

10 hours/week, 42 weeks annually, 10 weeks of vacation

Job Description:

  • Manage recruitment, intake, and inquiries

  • Accounting, database compilation

  • Sponsorship asks and relationship building with partners

  • Grant application write ups and submissions

  • Manage social media content

  • Perform a wide range of tasks, such as organizing and executing marketing initiatives, PR campaigns, negotiating media placements, outreach campaigns etc..

  • Develop creative campaigns to support events and recruitments

  • Write and edit marketing & PR copy, announcements and materials for media
